Mile markers and benches honor donors and were custom designed and manufactured by Madrax with Graber Manufacturing of Waunakee.

Miles are marked by the half mile (crane) and mile (eagle) through the Sauk Prairie section.  They are marked by the mile through the Sauk Prairie Recreation Area.​

There are currently 15 benches along the trail and 4 future locations available.
